• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload, store, or transmit your scanned images or the live camera feed to any external servers. The visual data is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after the scan result is obtained.

6. Local Data Storage

To provide features such as "Scan History" and "Saved/Favorite Scans," the application stores data locally on your device.

• User Control: This data includes the content of the codes you scan (e.g., text, URLs) and associated timestamps.
• Data Persistence: This information resides solely in your device's internal storage (Room Database). We do not have access to this database, and it is completely removed if you uninstall the application or clear the app data.

7. Payments and Premium Features

Our application offers a "Premium" version (e.g., Lifetime unlock) which may be purchased within the app.

• Transaction Handling: All financial transactions are processed directly through the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.
• Purchase Validation: We utilize the standard Google Play Billing Library to verify your purchase status locally on your device to unlock specific features.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

We strictly limit our use of third-party libraries to essential functional components only.

• Google Play Services: Used strictly for app distribution and secure billing transactions.
• ML Kit: Used for on-device barcode scanning capabilities without cloud processing.

We do not authorize these providers to use your data for any other purpose, and we do not share data with them beyond what is strictly necessary for the OS to function.

9. Internet Access and External Links

Our application requests internet permission solely to provide functionality.

• Core Functions: Internet access is used to open URLs found in QR codes or perform web searches for scanned content at your specific request.
• External Sites: If you scan a QR code that contains a link to a third-party website, you will be redirected to that site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, tracking, or content of these external websites.

10. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your information. Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, the risk of a central data breach is eliminated. However, please be aware that no security measure on a mobile device is absolutely impenetrable, and you are responsible for the physical security of your device.
